Known Issue

Description

Requests

This feature is not available yet. After implementation, you will be able to accept co-management requests from your reseller.

Alert Dashboard tile

This issue is caused by a performance limitation and may occur when loading a large number of alerts. We expect to resolve it in the next release, planned for the late third quarter or early in the fourth quarter.

License data discrepancy

There may be a discrepancy between the license unit consumption data shown in the Licenses tab and the actual number of activated units or devices listed in the Active Units tab.

Single sign-on login via Microsoft account

Existing self-managed users who have enabled single sign-on with Microsoft credentials via Entra ID tenant groups will experience issues if they try to log in using the same email address as a native user of ESET PROTECT Hub.

Reinserting deleted licenses

Standard licenses deleted in an ESET PROTECT Hub Customer account migrated from ESET Business Account cannot currently be reinserted. This issue will be fixed in the upcoming major release of ESET PROTECT Hub, planned for early December.

Delayed unit allocation refresh

When the user changes the allocation of units in Sites, updates to unit counts in Sites and the root pool may take time or require a manual refresh. Both allocation from Sites to the root pool and vice versa are affected. During the delay:

ESET Secure Authentication activation may succeed even when no units are present in the respective site or root pool.

ESET Secure Authentication activation may fail even though units have just been allocated.

Site-level access limitation

If a user is granted access only to a site in ESET PROTECT Hub, it is currently not possible to provide access to the ESET PROTECT Console. A general fix is planned for the upcoming months.

ESET PROTECT installer functionality after migration

After the migration from ESET Business Account and ESET MSP Administrator, the existing installers in ESET PROTECT may no longer function.

Workaround: Recreate the installer in ESET PROTECT. A general fix is planned for the upcoming months.
