Impersonation

Impersonation is an ability to temporarily view the ESET PROTECT Hub Platform as another user without logging in with their credentials. The Audit logs section displays actions and system records, tracking both the impersonator and the impersonated user. Changes made during the impersonation session are tracked to an individual user on the reseller's side.

You can impersonate ESET PROTECT Hub users whose roles are beneath yours in the hierarchy. Ending the session will return you to your ESET PROTECT Hub account.

Important

Certain security-sensitive and destructive actions may be restricted.

End the impersonation session

To end the impersonation session:

1.Hover over the Impersonation Impersonation icon at the top of the screen.

2.Click End the impersonation session.

3.Confirm and return to your ESET PROTECT Hub account.

Alternatively, click the Impersonation Impersonation icon > the End session button.
