Connect your device to ESET HOME to view and manage all features when you activate a device with a valid ESET license. In the ESET HOME management portal or mobile app, you can edit Anti-Theft settings (a feature in ESET Internet Security, ESET Smart Security Premium and ESET Mobile Security), add different licenses, download products to your devices, check the product security status or share licenses through email.
There are three methods to connect your device:
•I have already installed an ESET product on my device
•Connect your device to ESET HOME by sending a connection request
•Connect your device to ESET HOME using a QR code

Protect new device
I. Download an ESET product from ESET HOME
If you are unsure which ESET product you can use, download the protection directly to your new device from the ESET HOME portal. The downloaded installer offers you the most feature-rich ESET product for your license.
1.Log in to your ESET HOME account.
2.On the main screen, click Show all devices under the Devices section.
3.Click + Protect device. You can protect your current device or send the protection to your other devices by following the instructions below:
 | Protect this device—Download the ESET product installer to the device you are currently on and activate the ESET product. |
4.To download the installer on the current device, click Protect this device and click Continue. If you do not have license units available, remove some devices, purchase a new license or increase your existing license capacity.

Important
When your license is expired, click Renew or add a new license by clicking Already have a renewed or new license?
|
5.Choose a license, and click Continue. If you protect an Android device, you will be redirected to Google Play store to download the latest version of ESET Mobile Security or directly to the ESET Mobile Security application if you already have downloaded it. After ESET Mobile Security activation, your device will be connected to your ESET HOME account automatically.

Note
For Android device, also the free version of ESET Mobile Security is available.

6.Click Download protection.

Important
When downloading macOS protection, the License Key is displayed in the third step on the screen. Enter the License Key in the installer during the product activation.

7.Click Got it.
8.Open the downloaded installer and activate the ESET product. |
4.Choose the license, and click Continue. If you have only one license, it will be chosen automatically.
5.Choose an operating system listed below, and click Continue. You will see the ESET product with the operating system you want to protect.
•Windows—Send an installer that guides you through the ESET Windows home product installation.
•macOS—Choose ESET Cyber Security (also select a language) or ESET Cyber Security Pro and send the protection. The downloaded product depends on your license type.
•Android—Send the download link to the Android device. The link redirects you to Google Play to download the latest version of ESET Mobile Security or directly to the ESET Mobile Security app if you already have downloaded it.

Note
If you do not have an eligible license to protect the desired operating system, purchase a new license and add it to your ESET HOME account. If protecting an Android device, a free ESET Mobile Security version is also available.

6.Type an email address you can access on the device you want to protect.
7.Click Send protection, and an email will be sent to the entered address.
8.Download the installer from the received email and activate the ESET product by following the installer's instructions.

When sending macOS protection, the License Key is displayed in the third step on the screen. Enter the License Key in the installer during the product activation.

9.Click Got it.
10. After successful activation of the ESET product on your Windows or macOS device, connect the device to your ESET HOME account. After ESET Mobile Security activation, your device will be connected to your ESET HOME account automatically. |
II. Install your ESET product and connect it to your ESET HOME account
Follow the installation instructions for your ESET product:
•ESET NOD32 Antivirus
•ESET Internet Security
•ESET Smart Security Premium
•ESET Mobile Security
•ESET Cyber Security
•ESET Cyber Security Pro
ESET product is already installed on an existing device
Connect any device previously associated with your ESET HOME account (protected by a product activated with a license added to your account) to restore the protection. In this case, select the device from the list of previously connected devices and open the ESET product to connect it manually:
•ESET NOD32 Antivirus
•ESET Internet Security
•ESET Smart Security Premium
•ESET Mobile Security
1.Visit the ESET HOME web portal.
2.Log in to your ESET HOME account.
3.On the home screen, open the Devices section.
4.Scroll down to Devices suggested for connection and select the appropriate device.
5.Click Notify the device. ESET HOME will send you a notification to confirm the connection.
6.In the notification window displayed in your ESET security product, click Allow to manage and view your device's security.
Your device is now successfully connected to your ESET HOME account.

This procedure also applies to the ESET HOME mobile app.
|
|
1.Open the main program window of your ESET home product.
2.In the main menu options on the left, click ESET HOME account > Connect to ESET HOME.
3.Select the Scan QR code option.
4.Log in to the ESET HOME app on your mobile device.
5.Tap the main menu icon .
6.Tap Scan a QR code.
7.Tap Connect device.
8.In the program window of your ESET home product, set the name of your device and click Continue.
9.Click Done.
Your device is now connected to your ESET HOME account.
