Remove a device

When you reach your license limit or your license is in an overused state, you should free up some license seats by deactivating devices you no longer use. The ESET product installed on the device will not be uninstalled but will be deactivated, and the device will lose its protection. After disconnecting your device, you cannot manage and view its security in the ESET HOME account.

Disconnect and deactivate a device

A specific license in ESET HOME

1.On ESET HOME web portal, click Show all licenses.

2.Select the license from which you want to remove a device. Click Open license to access it.

3.Click the three-dots three_dots_menu button next to the device you want to disconnect.

4.Click Disconnect.

5.In the pop-up window, click Disconnect device to confirm your decision.

The ESET product installed on the device will not be uninstalled but will be deactivated, and the device will lose its protection.

A device in ESET HOME

1.On ESET HOME web portal, click Show all devices.

ESET HOME in the application

1.Log in to your ESET HOME app.

2.Tap Devices on the home screen to open the list of all your devices.

3.Tap the three dotsthree_dots_menu button.

4.Tap Disconnect > Disconnect device.


Disconnect but do not deactivate a device

The ESET product installed on the device will not be uninstalled but will be disconnected, and the device will still be protected.

Log out from your ESET HOME account via the ESET product on your device. The ESET product remains activated.

1.Open the main program window of your ESET home product.

2.In the upper right corner, click ESET HOME > Disconnect from ESET HOME.

3.Click Disconnect.
