Assign device to member
In the All devices section, you may see many devices with an active antivirus protection that are not yet assigned to any household member. To keep your device list organized, assign each of these devices to a household member, which helps you identify who is using a given device.
Assign device to a household member
Make sure the device you want to assign to a household member has activated antivirus protection, and is associated with your ESET HOME account. |
1.Log in to your ESET HOME account.
2.Click Members > All devices.
3.In the Devices without a linked member, click the device you want to assign.
4.In the Options section, click Linked member. The list of members is displayed. Choose the existing household member, or create a new one by clicking Add member. When you are trying to assign the device, which is not associated with your ESET HOME account yet, follow these steps.
5.Click Link device. You will be notified that you have successfully linked the device to given household member.
6.Click Got it.
The device is not associated with your ESET HOME account
In order to assign the device to a household member as intended, ESET HOME requires a remote association.
1.After you selected the member you wish to assign the device to in step 4 above, click Notify the device to connect the device to your ESET HOME account.
2.Notification to the given device will be sent. Click Got it, and follow the instructions in the notification.
3.After successful association, return to the ESET HOME and assign the device to a household member.
