Admin settings

In the Gear Admin settings section, you can configure specific settings for your ESET PROTECT Hub account.

License notifications

License status—Show selected license statuses in the Licenses section.

Alerts—Notify users about selected license statuses and recommended actions.

Email—Notify users if a license reaches a specific threshold, such as close to expiration or overused.

Set notifications for the following license statuses:

Close to expiration—Licenses expiring in 14 days.

Expired—Expired licenses.

Close to overuse—Licence usage has reached 90 percent.

Overused—License usage has exceeded 100 percent.

Units

ESET PROTECT Hub can automatically deactivate solutions on devices that do not connect for a set period. Enable the Deactivate disconnected devices toggle and select the deactivation period.

Click Apply to confirm the selection.

Security (Recommended)

Require Two-Factor Authentication for all users—Use this setting for a secure login. You can set up ESET Secure Authentication or use a third-party application. See Two-Factor Authentication.

Forget all remembered devices—Erase the previously remembered credentials. After forgetting the devices, users must use Two-Factor Authentication to access ESET PROTECT Hub for the previously remembered devices.

Password expiration—Select the time period after which users must change their passwords.

Idle session timeout—Select the time period after which users are logged out due to inactivity. Select a time range from 15 to 1,440 minutes.

Date and time format

Set a date and time format. The selected format will become the default setting in ESET PROTECT Hub.

Click Apply to confirm the selection.

Single sign-on

The ESET PROTECT Hub superuser can connect Microsoft Entra ID tenants to enable users to log in using their Microsoft account.
