Create an offline activation file

You can create, download and use an offline activation file on assets with limited or no internet access.

Create an offline activation file

1.Navigate to the Subscriptions section and select a subscription from the list by clicking its subscription code.

2.Click the Solutions tab.

3.Click the three dots icon next to a desired solution.

4.Select Create offline activation file.

5.Select the appropriate solution from the Solution drop-down menu. Ensure that the selected solution matches your offering tier.

6.Type the Offline activation file name.

7.Set the number of solutions for the asset you want to activate offline in Quantity.

8.If you select the Allow management with ESET PROTECT check box, you must provide an ESET PROTECT token. To obtain the token, follow the ESET PROTECT offline activation Online Help topic. When you obtain the token, type it into the ESET PROTECT token field in ESET PROTECT Hub.

9.When you select the check box next to Allow online activation, the ESET solution activated by the offline activation file can receive updates directly from ESET servers. Your solution can receive updates only when the target machine has internet access.

10. Click Create to finish creating a new offline activation file. The number of offline activation files will appear next to the initial solutions count in Quantity.

Show offline activation files

1.Navigate to the Subscriptions section and select a subscription from the list by clicking its subscription code.

2.Click the Solutions tab.

3.Click the three dots icon on a desired solution.

4.Select Show offline activation files.

Download or remove an offline activation file

1.Show the offline activation file as described above.

2.Click the generated offline activation file. Select Download or Remove from the context menu.
