Approval Requests

Approval Requests is a dedicated page where customer administrators can review, approve or reject account approval requests. The page stores all the submitted requests with the relevant details, such as:

User—The full name of the user who created the account approval request

Email—The email of the user used for account creation

Status—The approval status of the request

Approver—The user who approved the request

Created—The date of the account approval request creation

Updated—The date of the account approval request update, for example, approval or rejection

Approving the account approval request

When a new ESET Threat Intelligence account approval request is received, it appears on the Admin Settings > Approval Requests page, and the user has the Waiting status. The ESET Threat Intelligence user with the Customer Admin role can approve the account approval request.

Perform the following steps to approve the request:

1.Log in to your ESET Threat Intelligence account.

2.Go to Admin Settings > Approval Requests and find the added user with the Waiting status.

3.Hover over the user's name and click the three dots Three dots icon.

4.Select Actions > Approve user.

After the account approval, the user will receive the confirmation email and can start using ESET Threat Intelligence.

The approved account automatically gets the Customer User role. Optionally, you can change it to the Customer Admin. Refer to this chapter to learn how to edit the user's role or proceed from the Approval Requests page by following the steps below:

1.On the Approval Requests page, hover over the user's name and click the three dots Three dots icon.

2.Select User detail; the system redirects you to the Users page.

3.In the side panel under the Role, select click to edit.

4.On the Edit User page, open the Role menu.

5.Select the Customer Admin role and click Submit.

Rejecting the account approval request

Perform the following steps to reject the account approval request:

1.On the Approval Requests page, find the added user with the Waiting status.

2.Hover over the user's name and click the three dots Three dots icon.

3.Select Actions > Reject user. The Approval Requests page displays the user with the Rejected status.
