Add a new user

ESET Threat Intelligence customers can add additional users to their ESET Threat Intelligence instance. The process consists of three stages:

1.Add a user to the ESET PROTECT Hub account

2.Request an ESET Threat Intelligence account approval

3.Approve the ESET Threat Intelligence account approval request

Add a user to the ESET PROTECT Hub account

The ESET PROTECT Hub superuser must perform the following steps:

1.Log in to your ESET PROTECT Hub account.

2.Go to Users and add a user.

3.Specify the User information and Permissions.

4.Review the Summary and click Create to apply the changes.

The newly added user must activate their account.

Request an ESET Threat Intelligence account approval

The newly added user must perform the following steps after activating their ESET PROTECT Hub account:

1.Open the ESET Threat Intelligence page and log in with your ESET PROTECT Hub credentials.

2.After login, a Terms of Use window will appear. Read and accept the Terms of Use if you want to continue.

3.Request the account approval by clicking the Create approval request button and wait for the email confirming the account approval.

Approve the ESET Threat Intelligence account approval request

The ESET Threat Intelligence user with the Customer Administrator role must perform the following steps after the account approval request creation:

1.Log in to your ESET Threat Intelligence account.

2.Go to Approval requests and find the newly added user; the user has the Waiting status.

3.Hover over the user's name and click the three dots menu.

4.Click Approve user.

5.After the account approval, the user will receive the confirmation email and can start using ESET Threat Intelligence. The approved account automatically gets the Customer User role. Optionally, you can change it to the Customer Administrator. Perform the following steps if you want to change the user's role:

6.Click the user's name.

7.Next to the Role, select click to edit.

8.On the Edit User page, open the Role menu.

9.Select the Customer Admin role and click Submit.
