Getting started with ESET Business Account

Registration

To use the ESET Business Account (EBA) portal, you must first register to create an account.

ESET MSP Administrator account

If you have an ESET MSP Administrator account, use that account to log in to the ESET Business Account portal.

1.Visit eba.eset.com and click Register for free.

2.Enter your email address and define a password matching the password criteria displayed under the form fields. Ensure that you use a valid email address (this email address will also be your username) to ensure that you receive the confirmation email.  Click Continue.

3.Type in the required information in the next pages of the registration form. Click Continue to proceed to the next page, click Back to go back to a previous page of the registration form.

4.On the Add your company address page, type in the company details, read the Terms of Use, and select I agree to the ESET Terms of Use to confirm that you agree. Click Register.

5.Click the link you receive in the confirmation email (the email may take up to 15 minutes to receive). Type in the password you defined during registration and click Login.

Language of user interface

The language selected under the registration form will be used as the display language in the ESET Business Account portal. The display language can be changed in the portal after clicking your name.

After a successful login to the eba.eset.com portal, start adding/importing your licenses.

Cookies

Enabled browser cookies are required for the proper functionality of the portal.

IP lockout

After 10 failed login attempts to the EBA portal, your IP address will be locked out for 15 minutes. Any additional failed login attempts will prolong the lockout period.

Password security

The default and maximum password expiration time are 365 days. You can adjust it in your EBA profile.

ESET Business Account Dashboard

The Dashboard tab provides you with an overview of your license usage, unresolved alerts, and the option to perform the following tasks:

Start a free trial account of ESET PROTECT Cloud or buy an eligible license and log in to ESET PROTECT Cloud with a single click

Upgrade trial license to full license

Add your first license

Add additional user accounts

Create a site

When you log in for the first time, the Dashboard will appear as shown in the example image below:

Click Add your first license to import your existing license or start a free trial. The dialog pops up again whenever you access the Dashboard unless you started a free trial or added a license.

If a tile is removed, it cannot be replaced. However, the corresponding action can be executed via a menu option.

Empty Dashboard

The Dashboard may not display any relevant data if the user account's permissions allow operating only with a particular site.

Statistics data display as charts in the Dashboard once there are licenses imported.
