Dynamic Group Monitors

Use the Dynamic Group Monitors view to set up or remove your monitors for automated ESET PROTECT dynamic group monitoring.


Important

ESET PROTECT Connection required

The list of ESET PROTECT Dynamic Groups is only available after establishing a working ESET PROTECT Connection.

Dynamic Group Monitors

View details:

ESET PROTECT Dynamic Group—Identificator of the ESET PROTECT Dynamic Group

PSA Ticket Title—Title of the PSA ticket

PSA Ticket Description—Description of the PSA ticket

ESET PROTECT Connection Name—ESET PROTECT connection identificator

Set up Dynamic Group Monitors

1.Select Connection Settings > Dynamic Group Monitors.

2.Click Add New.

ESET PROTECT data retrieval delay

It can take a few minutes for PSA plugin agent to retrieve ESET PROTECT Dynamic Group information after a new ESET PROTECT Connection is established.

3.Select the check box next to ESET PROTECT Dynamic Group in the next window.

4.Click Continue.

5.Fill in or adjust all the required fields.

Device Detail Variables

You can populate the Title and the Description fields with variables below. These variables will be replaced with the corresponding data from the specific device when the PSA ticket is created.

Variables available in both ESET PROTECT and ESET PROTECT On-Prem:

Variables available only in the ESET PROTECT:

%DEVICE_DETAILS_URL%

%DEPLOYED_COMPONENTS%

6.Click Continue.

The ESET PROTECT Dynamic Group Monitor is now created. Use the Ticket Logs to verify the monitors are correct.

Edit Dynamic Group Monitors

1.Select Connection Settings > Dynamic Group Monitors.

2.Click the line with the ESET PROTECT Dynamic Group Monitor you want to change.

3.Click Edit Dynamic Group Monitor.

4.Adjust the required fields.

5.Click Continue.

Remove Dynamic Group Monitors

1.Select the Connection Settings > Dynamic Group Monitors.

2.Select the check box next to the ESET PROTECT Dynamic Group Monitor you want to remove.

3.Click Delete.

The ESET PROTECT Dynamic Group monitor is now removed from the list of monitors.
