note

ESET MDR availability

ESET MDR is only available in selected services-enabled markets.

The ESET MDR service covers all the managed devices running ESET Inspect. Follow the steps below to select the devices for which you want to manage security independently from the ESET MDR service:

1.Open ESET PROTECT and navigate to Computers.

2.Click the gear icon next to the existing static parent group and select New Static Group.

3.Type exempt in the Name field and click Finish.

4.Select the parent group and select the devices you want to include in the exempt group.

5.Click the Computer button > Manage > Move to Group and select the exempt group.

The devices in the exempt group are under your management—You can handle incidents manually without the automatically applied response actions.
