Social login failed - email address already in use

When you received one of the following error messages about an already used email address during the social button use, how to resolve the issue?

The email address is already associated with another ESET HOME account. Use a different email address or learn more about login options by clicking the link below.

This error message appears when an ESET HOME account is already created with the same email address but connected to a different Apple/Google account.

To resolve this issue:

•Log in with your ESET HOME registered email and password or

•Use a different Apple/Google account already connected with your ESET HOME account.

The email address is already associated with another ESET HOME account. Please log in with your Google/Apple account and connect your Apple/Google account in the account settings.

This error message displays when the ESET HOME account is already created with the same email address, but you used an incorrect social button to log in.

To resolve this issue:

1.Log in to your ESET HOME account with your Apple/Google account using the correct social button (choose the existing one based on the error message suggestion).

2.In the upper-right corner of your screen (PC users) or left menu button (smartphone and tablet users), click the email address you are logged in with.

3.Click My Account.

4.Connect your ESET HOME account with Google or Apple ID in the Social login section.
