To set one up, ensure your router supports a VPN service with WireGuard or OpenVPN protocol. You can check this in your router's specification sheet or user manual, available on the manufacturer's website.
Step-by-step instructions are available for Asus and TP-Link routers, the two most widely used brands. If you have a different router that supports WireGuard or OpenVPN, you can still set it up manually using the downloaded configuration file and your router's own VPN client setup guide.
