Impact of disabled HIPS on ESET Folder Guard feature
ESET Folder Guard is not working. The security alert appears in the Overview section when the Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) is disabled. Folder protection against unauthorized access is not working. Disabled HIPS may leave your device vulnerable to various threats. In this security alert, click Enable HIPS to ensure your protection. A computer restart is needed for this change to take effect. Once HIPS is enabled, you can enable the ESET Folder Guard feature. |
