Get started

To start using ESET Connect, you need to fulfill these prerequisites:

1.Verify your environment meets network prerequisites.

2.Have a valid ESET PROTECT subscription and use the ESET PROTECT Web Console. You can also have ESET Inspect and ESET Cloud Office Security subscription.

3.Create an API user account.

4.Authenticate the API user.

5.Authorize the API user.

6.Try sending API calls using the command line.

Note

Before using the API available with the ESET Cloud Office Security subscription, such as Quarantine Management, User Management, and the GET /v2/detections call in Incident Management, ensure you have logged in to your ESET Cloud Office Security Web Console with your API user credentials at least once so your account is recognized.
