Basic setup

You can easily configure specific security settings across the whole network without using policies or dynamic groups. You can configure:

•ESET security application

•ESET LiveGuard

•ESET Detection & Response

•ESET Vulnerability & Patch Management

•ESET Cloud Workload Protection

•Threat research

Optionally, you can open the Basic setup from:

•Computers > click the gear icon next to All in Groups > click Set up protection.

•Configuration > Advanced setup > click the Protection - via basic setup policy > click Set up protection.

Simplified onboarding

After you log in to ESET PROTECT, you can simplify the onboarding process and reduce the number of settings:

1.The Install protection on your devices window displays > click Continue.

2.Apply recommended protection settings—review the recommended and optimal protection setup > click Apply. Optionally, click Customize settings to edit the settings separately.

3.Download or share the installer—select Group/Customer and click OK > click Download.

4.Next steps—review the next steps > click Finish.
