Insert offline activation file
You can use an activation file from ESET Business Account or ESET PROTECT Hub to activate ESET PROTECT On-Prem and other ESET security applications.

•Each offline activation file is generated only for one application, e.g. ESET Endpoint Security. •Offline activation file shall be used only for clients that will never have access to ESET activation servers (even if a client is connected to internet via proxy with access limited only to ESET services, do not use offline activation file). |

Only Administrators whose home group is set to All, with Write permission for subscriptions in the home group can add or remove subscription. Each subscription is identified by its subscription code and can contain one or more units. Subscriptions can only be distributed by the Administrator to other users with sufficient permissions. |
Create and import an offline activation file
1.Open the ESET PROTECT On-Prem Subscription Management and click Actions > Add Subscriptions.
2.Select Insert offline activation file and copy a specific Subscription file token.
3.Create an offline activation file in ESET Business Account or ESET PROTECT Hub and download the file.

Ensure to select the check box next to Allow management with ESET PROTECT On-Prem and type the ESET PROTECT On-Prem token (Subscription file token from ESET PROTECT On-Prem) during the offline activation file creation. |
4.Go back to ESET PROTECT On-Prem, click Browse or drag & drop an offline activation file and select the offline activation file you have created in ESET Business Account or ESET PROTECT Hub.
5.Click Add subscriptions.
Replace an existing offline activation file
1.Remove the old activation file in ESET PROTECT On-Prem and activation file in ESET Business Account or ESET PROTECT Hub.
2.Create new offline activation file in ESET Business Account or ESET PROTECT Hub.
3.Import the new activation file to ESET PROTECT On-Prem.
4.Reactivate applications with the new activation file.
