Delete your ESET HOME account

After deleting your account, you can create a new ESET HOME account using the same email address associated with your previous account.

Deleting your ESET HOME account does not delete your ESET license credentials that you use with your ESET product (such as ESET Smart Security Premium) to activate your product and obtain product module updates.


important

After deleting your ESET HOME account, your ESET products will remain installed on your devices and will still be protected.

Use the ESET HOME portal to delete your account (have a ESET HOME password)

1.On the top of the screen, click your email address, and select My account in the drop-down menu.

2.Click Delete account.

3.Type your current ESET HOME account password into the Password field.

Note

If you have set up the 2FA, type the 6-digit code from your authentication app and click Continue.

4.Click Delete account.

Your account is now deleted.


Use the ESET HOME portal to delete your account (I did not create a ESET HOME password)

1.On the top of the screen, click your email address, and select My account in the drop-down menu.

2.Click Delete account.

3.Click Send email.

4.The email will be sent to your email address. Click the link in the email to verify your identity and you will be redirected to ESET HOME portal.

If you have set up the 2FA, type the 6-digit code from your authentication app and click Continue.

5.Click Delete account.

Your account is now deleted.


Use the ESET HOME app to delete your account

1.Tap the main menu icon in the top left corner and select My account at the bottom of the main menu.

2.Scroll down and tap Delete account.

3.Type your current ESET HOME account password into the Password field.

If you have set up the 2FA, enter the 6-digit code from your authentication app and click Continue.

4.Tap Delete account.

Your account is now deleted.
