Fair Use Policy

The Fair Use Policy states limits for ESET Threat Intelligence services usage to ensure fair use for all customers. Below are the main basic limitations.

TAXII feeds

Limit: 10% of feed objects downloads/hour (for five consecutive hours)/customer

The maximum amount of TAXII feeds objects downloaded by one customer can be at most 10% per one feed per hour for five consecutive hours.

Sample reports

Limit: 250 files/week/customer

The maximum number of Sample reports one customer submits for analysis can be at most 250 per week.

ESET AI Advisor

Limit: 10 requests/minute/user

The maximum number of requests one user can send to ESET AI Advisor is 10 requests per minute.

YARA rulesets

Limit: 100 rulesets/customer

The maximum number of YARA rulesets one customer can create is 100.

YARA matches

Limit: 300 matches/ruleset

The maximum number of YARA matches generated by one ruleset can be at most 300 within the last 6 hours.

ESET Threat Intelligence API rate limit

Limit: 180 requests/minute/user or IP

The maximum number of API requests one user or an IP address (if the user is not authenticated) can send is 180 per minute.

Users per customer

Limit: 10 users/customer

The maximum number of users one customer can create is 10.
