Two-Factor Authentication

When you sign in to the ESET Services HUB using your Email and Password, a time-based one-time password (TOTP) is generated to increase security. You must type the password in the next step to authenticate and log in.

Set up Two-Factor Authentication

Set up Two-Factor Authentication during the next login after successful registration.

1.Log in to ESET Services HUB. Type your Email and Password.

2.Click the Login button.

3.Follow the steps on Connect Salesforce Authenticator screen to set up the Salesforce Authenticator application, or click Choose Another Verification Method to use a preferred application.

We recommend a free two-factor application, ESET Secure Authentication esh_icon_esa_01. It is available in the official Android and iOS stores.

ESET Services HUB supports TOTP protocol for Two-Factor Authentication. You can use any other TOTP protocol-compatible mobile Two-Factor Authentication application (for example, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator).

4.In the Choose a Verification method screen, select Use verification codes from an authenticator app and click Continue .

5.Open the authentication app on your phone, tap the plus icon and scan the QR code from the Connect an Authenticator App page. After scanning, you will automatically log in to the ESET Services HUB Dashboard view.

6.When you log in, log out to test the log-in process with Two-Factor Authentication. Click the Logout esh_icon_logout_01 icon in the top right corner to log out.

Log in with a password and Two-Factor Authentication

1.Log in to ESET Services HUB again. Type your Email and Password.

2.Click the Login button.

3.From now on, you will be asked to Verify Your Identity during login. Use an authentication app on your phone to generate a one-time verification code. Type the verification code (6 digits) in the Verification Code field and click Verify.

After the successful verification, you are logged in the ESET Services HUB Dashboard view.

You will receive a notification email A new verification method was added to your Services HUB account.
