Third-party Authenticator Applications
ESET Secure Authentication supports third‑party TOTP authenticator applications, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, and others.
Prerequisites
•This feature is disabled by default and must be enabled before a user can enroll in a third‑party authenticator app. In ESET Secure Authentication, navigate to Settings > Mobile Application > enable Allow Provisioning of Third-Party Applications > click Save.
•The third-party authenticator app must support the OATH standard.
•When a third-party authenticator app is provisioned, only time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) are supported. Other methods are not supported.
