Time slots

Time slots are utilized within Device control rules to specify when these rules should be applied. You can create a time slot and select it when adding new rules or modifying existing ones by using the "Apply during" parameter. This feature allows you to define commonly used time slots, such as work hours or weekends, and easily reuse them without having to redefine the time ranges for each rule. A time slot can be applied to any type of rule that supports time-based control.

To create a time slot, complete the following:

1.Click Edit > Add.

2.Type the Name and Description for the time slot and then click Add.

3.Choose the day and specify the start and end times for the time slot, or select All day.

4.Click OK to confirm your selections.

A single time slot can be defined using one or more time ranges based on specific days and times. When the time slot is created, it will appear in the Apply during drop-down menu within the Device control rules editor or the Web control rules editor.
