Workflows
Use Kaseya VSA X workflows for automated monitoring and action to detect and resolve issues on your managed devices.
Edit ESET-provided workflows Adjust ESET-provided workflows to your environment needs using the edit workflow or use them as an example to create new workflows. |
Edit Workflow
1.Click Automation > Workflows.
2.Hover the mouse over the ESET-provided workflow Name. Click the Edit icon. (Optional) Clone the ESET-provided workflow first and edit the cloned entry. Hover the mouse over the ESET-provided workflow Name. Click the Clone
icon.
3.Click the Details step.
4.(Optional) In the Details step, Details section, type the workflow Name and Description.
5.(Optional) Change any desired parameters in the Status, Trigger Type and Maximum execution time sections based on you environment needs.
6.Click Next.
7.(Optional) Click the desired Trigger, Condition (for example, Windows Event Log ID) and Action fields and in the next window, and use the available options to make changes. Click Confirm to confirm the changes.
8.Click Save.
A blue notification message will appear: The Workflow "{workflow_name}" was updated successfully.
Create a new workflow
1.Click Automation > Workflows.
2.Click Create Workflow.
3.In the Details step, Details section, type the workflow Name and Description.
4.Click the toggle next to Activate in the Status section to activate the workflow immediately after creation. NOTE: The imported workflows are set to inactive by default.
5.Click the Trigger Type drop-down menu in the Trigger Type section and select the Notification or Ad-hoc and Scheduled workflow trigger based on your environment needs.
6.Type the Maximum execution time in hours for the workflow in the Max Execution Time text field.
7.Click Next.
8.In the next window, click the desired trigger from the available menu. Click + New Step to Choose an action. In the next window, set the desired action parameters using the available menu options. Click Confirm. Repeat for each workflow step.
9.Click Create.
A blue notification message will appear: The Workflow "{workflow_name}" was created successfully.
