Import workflows

To import ESET DEM plugin for Kaseya VSA X workflows, open the downloaded ESET-provided script bundle that contains folders with scripts, policies and workflows.

ESET Workflow details

Workflows in Kaseya VSA X are logic trees that can be run ad-hoc, on a schedule or triggered automatically based on a notification. Workflows are flexible and can perform various tasks within Kaseya VSA X.

The ESET-provided workflows:

•ESET Automatic Onboarding—Notification trigger-based workflow that performs an Onboard task whenever a new device is registered to the filtered organization.

•ESET Event Log Monitor—Event Log notification triggered workflow is configured to activate based on an Event Log notification from the policy that was configured earlier.

•ESET Scheduled Scan—Scheduled trigger-based workflow is configured to run once a day. It starts a scan on ESET endpoint devices and logs the result in the workflow log.

You may apply additional configurations to each workflow to ensure it functions properly in your environment.

Import workflows

1.Click Automation > Workflows.

2.Click the Actions drop-down menu and click Import Workflow.

3.In the next window, navigate to the folder containing the .wfl files (for example: ESET Automatic Onboarding.wfl) and click Open.

4.(Optional) In the Details step, Details section, type the workflow Name and Description.

5.Click the toggle next to Activate in the Status section to activate the workflow immediately after the creation. NOTE: The imported workflows are set to inactive by default.

6.Click the Trigger Type drop-down menu in the Trigger Type section and select Notification or Ad-hoc and Scheduled based on your environment needs.

7.Type the Maximum execution time in hours for the workflow in the Max Execution Time text field.

8.Click Next.

9.In the next window, review the Workflow. NOTE: Click + New Step or existing steps to view and edit details.

10. Click Create.

A blue notification message will appear: The Workflow "ESET Automatic Onboarding" was created successfully.
