Configure Global variables

Set the Global variables to be used by the entire ESET DEM plugin for Datto RMM integration if desired.

Global variables

Datto RMM enables users to add a set of variables to be used globally within the RMM console, removing the need to define these variables for each task run.

datto_global_variables_01

To add Global variables in Datto RMM for ESET DEM plugin for Datto RMM use:

1.From the left-hand side menu, select Setup > Global Settings.

2.Scroll to the bottom section, Variables.

3.Click the Add Variable button to add new line.

4.Type the desired variable Name from the table below and set the correct Value. Where required, set the value to Masked.

5.Click Save.

note

Site-specific and job-defined variables

Site-specific variables with the same name will override global variable settings.

If you run a job with these variables defined, it will override both global and site-specific variables.
