Suspicious application
Suspicious application is a classification for programs that use tools and techniques similar to those employed by malware authors to prevent detection, such as runtime packing and code obfuscation. This classification is specific to ESET. Other vendors may identify files as suspicious for different reasons.
Suspicious detections are not a specific type of threat but a class of behaviors. As a result, detections may be a false positive alarm. If your ESET software or service reports a Suspicious application and you believe it may be incorrect, submit the file(s) detected to ESET’s Research lab by following the instructions.
