Webgui cannot bind to network interface

Issue

When webgui is set to use specific ip address, and the required network interface is down, at the time of starting product, webgui does not bind to this interface.

In system logs, a corresponding error message is displayed:

06/05/2024 09:48:07 AM,Starting service,"Cannot bind to { ""ip"": ""10.1.174.17"", ""port"": 9443 }: Cannot assign requested address",root

Workaround

Restart the product:

sudo systemctl restart efs

or

Disable and enable the webgui:

sudo /opt/eset/efs/sbin/setgui -d

sudo /opt/eset/efs/sbin/setgui -e
