Working with the ESET Secure Authentication mobile app

After adding your accounts, you can use the ESET Secure Authentication mobile app to authenticate (sign in with 2FA).

Depending on what your organization (or the website) requires, you shall approve a push request or type a One‑Time Password (OTP) code.

Approve a Push notification (managed ESET Secure Authentication)

1.Sign in to the protected service as usual.

2.You will get a push notification on your phone. Tap it to open the ESET Secure Authentication mobile app.

3.Review the details, then tap Reject or Accept.


Important

Android devices

If battery optimization is in use, the push notifications can be delayed, and the window with the instructions can be displayed.

Type a One-Time Password code

1.Open ESET Secure Authentication mobile app and choose the relevant account.

2.Type the 6‑digit OTP where requested.


Note

The spaces in the ESET Secure Authentication mobile app OTP code are only for readability. Most systems ignore the spaces.
