Delete or suspend ESET PROTECT Cloud

Delete the ESET PROTECT Cloud instance


If you delete ESET PROTECT Cloud, your ESET Inspect Cloud is also removed.

You can delete the ESET Inspect Cloud instance and keep ESET PROTECT Cloud.

To permanently remove an active ESET PROTECT Cloud instance:

1.Log in to EMA 2.

2.Click Dashboard.

3.Click the gear icon in the ESET PROTECT Cloud tile > Delete ESET PROTECT Cloud.


4.Enter your EMA 2 account password in the confirmation field.

5.Click Delete.

6.After a while, your instance is deactivated.


Suspend the ESET PROTECT Cloud instance

Your ESET PROTECT Cloud is suspended when you suspend the last eligible license or customer with the last eligible license in your account. After the instance is suspended, all its data ia saved for 30 days. After that period, the instance and all its data is removed. If you activate the instance after that, you have to re-deploy all ESET Management Agents and set up all policies from scratch.

If you suspend a customer, but you have at least one eligible customer left unsuspended, the ESET PROTECT Cloud is still accessible. You can also manage the computers of suspended customers. Suspended endpoints will report license alerts.
