Version 1.10 brings you new features and improvements:
Major functionality improvements
Multitenancy support completed
•New improvements have been developed, such as managing access rights per group, synchronizing static group types, and blocking modules.
•However, some of the changes for on-premises ESET Inspect will come into effect after the release of the new version of ESET PROTECT. |
Detection capability improvements
New signals to indicate ransomware attacks
•For proper detection and blocking of ransomware attacks, ESET Inspect 1.10 can now correlate signals about the ransomware action ( Ransomware Shield, canary files) with operations such as DLL load or inject. |
Simple incident creation based on the partner's (specific endpoint rules) SIEM rules
•The new filtering rules automatically cover the most prevalent threats and provide extra protection for minimum effort.
•An incident will be automatically created when the rule or set of rules is hit. |
Detection of files delivered through RDP connection's copy & paste
•ESET Inspect can detect attackers accessing the victim's machine via a remote desktop protocol and helps to prevent them from delivering payload files. |
Other improvements
Displayed OS API calls from ESET LiveGuard
•OS API calls executed by modules and sent to ESET LiveGuard are now visible to provide insight into what the application is doing. |
MDR Report Template
•The MDR Hero Report in ESET PROTECT can be enriched with data from ESET Inspect by using API calls. |
Dark Mode
•A dark screen setting designed best to use dim light situations, particularly at night, is already available. |
ESET LiveGuard information columns in executables table view
•We have added a new front-end feature that enables users to filter threats according to the ESET Lifeguard status. |
