If your ESET Dynamic Threat Defense is not working:

make sure you meet all requirements

in the ESMC Web Console, you can look for a possible cause using following checklist.

 

ESET Dynamic Threat Defense license

Navigate to More > License Management and check if your ESET Dynamic Threat Defense license is listed. If the license is not there, add it using your ESET Business Account, that is the only supported way.

Make sure the icon is following:user it indicates the EBA Account, what is the only way how to correctly import ESET Dynamic Threat Defense license.

Dashboard report

Navigate to Dashboard > Security Management Center Server and look at Security Management Center network peers with problems report. If there is ESET Dynamic Threat Defense related entries, the service may be temporarily unavailable.

Product activation

Navigate to Computers > click the computer > Show Details > Details > click Product & Licenses tab and look for ESET Dynamic Threat Defense license. If the license is not there, activate the product.

Product configuration

1.Navigate to Computers > click the computer > Show Details > Configuration and click Request configuration.

2.When the configuration is received (click reload icon_reload button) , click Security product > Open Configuration and navigate to Detection engine > Cloud-based protection and check if ESET LiveGrid® and ESET Dynamic Threat Defense are enabled. For server products, navigate to Computer > Cloud-based protection. If needed, configure the policy to enable ESET Dynamic Threat Defense on your machine.

3.If there is no Security product in the Configuration tab after the configuration is received, install a supported ESET security product on the target machine.
