eRmm disabled in policy alert—existing endpoints must be configured to be managed by ESET Direct Endpoint Management plugin for NinjaOne

If ESET endpoint products are installed before using ESET DEM plugin for NinjaOne, you must manually activate Remote monitoring and management for the components to work correctly. If an ESET product was previously installed on a component, perform an uninstall product task and then reinstall the product. Verify that all ESET endpoint products are running version 6.6 or later. View the How to activate remote monitoring and management topic for illustrated instructions.

For the Advanced setup:

1.Click Tools > ESET RMM and click the toggle next to Enable RMM.

2.Next to Working Mode, select Safe operations only. Next to Authorization Method, select Application Path.

3.Click Edit next to Application paths.

4.In the Allowed RMM application paths window, type the following application path: c:\Program Files\ESET\RMM Adapter\bin\ermma-ninja.exe

End of Line characters

Some users may experience issues with the ESET-supplied scripts for macOS and Linux.

Adjust the downloaded scripts as follows:

Edit the ESET-supplied macOS scripts with the correct End of Line (EOL) characters: CR instead of CR LF.

Edit the ESET-supplied Linux scripts with the correct End of Line (EOL) characters: LF instead of CR LF.

Some Windows servers may not show as Protected

Some Windows servers may not show as Protected in the reporting window of NinjaOne. This is due to an issue with the Windows Security Center, which provides the reporting through NinjaOne. NinjaOne support is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it.
