Add Device Custom Fields

There are two sets of custom fields to be added for the plugin, Device and Organization custom fields.

Important

All device custom fields are required

You must add all the device custom fields for the plugin to function properly. When added, you can hide from the technician/administrator view those device custom fields that are not required by your usage.


Note

Read-only custom field values

The technician/administrator cannot write values for the device custom fields. Plugin scripts set these values automatically during task or monitoring execution.

1.In the NinjaOne console, click Administration > Devices > Device Custom Fields.

2.Click + Add custom field > Field.

3.In the next window, click the Custom field type drop-down menu and select the correct type based on the table below.

4.Click Continue.

5.Type the device custom field Label and Name based on the table below to input the correct values.

6.Click Submit.

Repeat steps above for all other device custom fields.

ESET Last Scan Date

Displays the most recent date/time of any ESET scan performed on the device.

ESET Last Threat Date

Displays the most recent date/time of any threat detected on the device.

Displays the name of the most recent threat detected on the device.

Hide not required device custom fields

When added, hide any device custom field not required by your usage, from the technician view.

1.Click Administration > Devices > Device Custom Fields.

2.Click the desired device custom field name.

3.In the next window, click the Permissions * tab and next to Technician access*, click the drop-down menu and select None.

4.Click Submit.
