Automation Policies (tasks)

Automation Policies prerequisites

Before using Automation Policies (tasks), you must download, import and configure the plugin.

Create these tasks to perform the desired action on your devices:

•Onboard (Install and Activate)—Install and activate a supported ESET security application with the ESET Management Agent (if applicable).

•Offboard (Uninstall)—Remove the ESET security application on a device.

•Activate—Activate a supported ESET security application on a device.

•Deactivate—Deactivate the ESET security application running on a device.

•Scan—Initiate an On-demand scan. You can scan all files and folders using the Smart Scan profile or specify the exact files and folders to scan.

•Update—Perform a forced detection engine update.

•Configure—Configure your ESET security application settings with a prepared configuration file.
