Upgrading the plugin

When a new version of the ESET DEM plugin for ConnectWise Automate is released, upgrade the plugin by following these three steps:

1.Update the ESET DEM plugin for ConnectWise Automate in the Solutions Center.

2.Update Remote Agent Plugins in Plugin Manager.

3.Restart the Automate Control Center.

Update the ESET DEM plugin for ConnectWise Automate in the Solutions Center

1.Open ConnectWise Automate Control Center.

2.Navigate to System > Solutions > Solutions Center. The available update appears at the top.

3.Click Queue on the ESET DEM plugin for ConnectWise Automate icon.

4.Click Solutions in Queue at the top of the Solutions Center menu.

5.In Queued Solutions, click the Install/Update button under ESET DEM plugin for ConnectWise Automate.

6.Click Yes to confirm the update. To create a backup of your local database, select the Backup local database before update check box before you click Yes.

7.In Download Summary, click Close Solution Center and click Yes to close the Solutions Center.

Update Remote Agent Plugins in Plugin Manager

1.Navigate to System > Plugin Manager.

2.Click Advanced > Reload Plugins > Update Remote Agent Plugins.

3.Click Yes to continue and restart the database agent.

When the update is complete, the system displays the following message at the bottom of the Plugin Manager: Database agent restarted successfully.

Restart the Automate Control Center

After you update the Remote Agent Plugins, close the Automate Control Center and start it again to apply the changes.
