Remote deployment of Agent

Remote deployment of Agent-only installer

The Agent-only installer is a script (.bat for Windows, and .sh for Linux and macOS) which contains all necessary information for a client machine to download and install the ESET Management Agent. If you are installing on Linux machine, make sure the Linux machine meets the prerequisites. You can distribute the installer via email and let the user deploy it. If available, use a third-party remote management tool to distribute and execute the script.

The client machine needs to have an internet connection to download the Agent installation package and to connect to the ESET PROTECT Server.

Remote deployment of All-in-one installer

The All-in-one installer can be installed remotely, within a local network, using ESET Remote Deployment Tool. See the ESET Remote Deployment Tool documentation for detailed instructions.
