Dark Web

The dark web is a part of the internet that is hidden from the average user. To view it, you need to use special software and know the exact address where the page is located. You access the dark web via the dark net.

What is the difference between dark web, dark market and deep web?

The dark web is particularly notorious for its so-called dark markets. These are websites that offer to sell illegal goods in exchange for cryptocurrencies. Thanks to the anonymity of technologies, transactions made on dark markets are confidential and relatively untraceable.

The dark web is part of the deep web—it includes everything that is hidden from internet search engines (for example, private messages, email communication, content of paid streaming services, etc.).

Everything publicly available and searchable is called the surface web.
