IP sets
An IP set is a collection of IP addresses that create one logical group of IP addresses, useful when reusing the same set of addresses in multiple Firewall rules or Brute-force attack protection rules. ESET Internet Security also contains pre-defined IP sets for which internal rules are applied. One example of such a group is a Trusted zone. Trusted zone represents a group of network addresses where your computer and shared files stored on your computer are visible to other network users, and system resources are accessible to other users on the network.
To add an IP set:
1.Open Advanced setup > Protections > Network access protection > IP sets > Edit.
2.Click Add, type in a Name and Description for the zone, and type a remote IP address in Remote computer address (IPv4/IPv6, range, mask).
3.Click OK.
For more information, see Edit IP sets.
