The latest ESET Inspect On-Prem brings new features and improvements:
•Virtual Disk Mount Event—Enhanced visibility into virtual disk mounting operations, for example ISO files, enabling security analysts to better detect potential threats related to this increasingly common initial access method.
•BITS Job Add File Event—Now collecting BITS Job Add File events, improving detection capabilities and enabling both ESET and clients to incorporate these events into security rules. |
Located in Settings > Detection rules, this feature allows users to easily revert rules created by ESET to their default enabled/disabled states. Rules and exclusions created by client remain unaffected. Users can preview affected rules before confirming, simplifying the reversal of unwanted customizations and restoring default security settings.

Enables blocking files by SHA-256 hash, with visibility into endpoint compatibility. A predefined filter in ESET Inspect Web Console quickly identifies unsupported endpoints. SHA-256 details are displayed throughout ESET Inspect Web Console for easy reference.
|
New filter displays only detections linked to incidents, hiding those without incidents. This provides a clearer view for incident investigation and improves visibility into malicious activity.

LibFuse is now automatically installed during ESET Inspect Connector setup on Linux Ubuntu, streamlining installation and eliminating the need for manual intervention by administrators.
|
Enhanced usability and refreshed design, including a new progress bar indicating chat limit usage. This improves predictability and minimizes unexpected interruptions.
|
This release includes bug fixes for enhanced stability and performance optimizations for a smoother, more efficient user experience.
