Web control
The Web control section enables you to configure settings that protect your company from the risk of legal liability. Web control can regulate access to websites that violate intellectual property rights. The goal is to prevent employees from accessing pages with inappropriate or harmful content or pages that may have a negative impact on productivity.
The Web control enables you to block web pages containing offensive material. Employers or system administrators can also restrict access to over 27 pre-defined website categories and over 140 subcategories.
Enable Web control
Web control is disabled by default. To enable it, activate the feature. To configure access, click Edit next to URL rules or Category-based rules to open the Web control rules editor.
