Outgoing communication

Example of an outgoing internet connection:
A local application trying to establish an internet connection.

Application—Application establishing the connection.

Company—Publisher of the application.

Reputation—Reputation of the application as obtained by ESET LiveGrid® technology.

Remote computer—Computer with which the application is attempting to communicate.

Remote port—Port used for the communication.

Remember action (create rule)—If you select this option before allowing or denying a communication, ESET Endpoint Security will remember the action and use it if the application is contacted by the remote computer again.

Temporarily remember action for the process—ESET Endpoint Security will remember the chosen action until the process is ended.

Allow—Allows outgoing communication.

Deny—Denies outgoing communication.

More info—Customize rule properties. Click Custom rule to display the Edit rule window to create a rule with pre-defined parameters of outbound traffic.
