Incoming communication
Example of an incoming internet connection:
A remote computer attempting to communicate with an application running on the computer.
Application—Application contacted by a remote computer.
Company—Publisher of the application.
Reputation—Reputation of the application as obtained by ESET LiveGrid® technology.
Remote computer—Remote computer trying to establish communication with the application on your computer.
Local port—Port used for the communication.
Remember action (create rule)—If you select this option before allowing or denying a communication, ESET Endpoint Security will remember the action and use it if the application is contacted by the remote computer again.
Temporarily remember action for the process—ESET Endpoint Security will remember the chosen action until the next restart.
Allow—Allows the incoming communication.
Deny—Denies the incoming communication.
