Safe Start prevents Full Disk Encryption from starting in ESET Endpoint Encryption
If the Safe Start test does not run or run successfully, it is reported as a pre-start failure or incompatibility.
If your PC restarts directly to Windows, but one of the following happens:
•The countdown does not change, and/or pressing a key does nothing
•Windows fails to start after Safe Start finishes running, a BSOD occurs, or Windows enters Repair M ode
•Anything else that requires or causes the PC to need a reset or power off before Windows loads
Solution
1.Ensure you have the latest version of ESET Endpoint Encryption installed.
2.Run the ESET Encryption Log Collector.
3.Submit a support ticket, include a complete description of what occurs when Safe Start fails and attach the logs generated in the previous step.
