Detection Engine

The Detection Engine guards against malicious system attacks by controlling files. For example, if an object classified as malware is detected, remediation will start. The detection engine can eliminate it by blocking it and then cleaning, deleting or quarantining.

To modify the ESET Endpoint Antivirus for macOS Detection Engine advanced settings, open Application Preferences by using cmd+, or click ESET Endpoint Antivirus for macOS in the macOS menu bar and select Preferences (Settings).
