Product activation

The Product Activation window is displayed as one of the onboarding steps. If the product activation was not done during onboarding, it can be accessed at any time in the ESET Cyber Security application. To launch the application, click the ESET Cyber Security icon located in the macOS Menu Bar (at the top of the screen) and then select Show ESET Cyber Security. The Product Activation alert is displayed in the Overview section. The alert contains a link to the activation dialog. After the activation dialog opens, specify the following:

•Activate with an Activation Key—Type your activation key, which identifies the subscription owner and activates the subscription. The activation key is a unique string in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX or XXXX-XXXXXXXX.

•Free trial—Select this option to evaluate ESET Cyber Security before purchasing. Type in your information and click Register to activate ESET Cyber Security for a limited time. Trials can only be activated once per customer.

•Purchase a Subscription—Click this option to purchase a subscription. This redirects you to your local ESET distributor's website.

•Use your ESET HOME account—Log in to your ESET HOME account and choose a subscription to activate the ESET product on your device.

•Activate later—Click this option if you do not want to activate now.
