Supported ESET security products

The ESET DEM plugin for N-able N-sight RMM works without a remote management server. Currently, N-able N-sight RMM supports the following ESET security products:

Windows:

•ESET Endpoint Antivirus (supported versions)

•ESET Endpoint Security (supported versions)

•ESET Server Security for Microsoft Windows Server (supported versions)

•ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server (supported versions)

•ESET Inspect and ESET MDR (supported versions)

macOS:

•ESET Endpoint Antivirus for macOS (supported versions)

•ESET Endpoint Security for macOS (supported versions)

•ESET Inspect and ESET MDR (supported versions)

Linux:

•ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Linux (supported versions)

•ESET Endpoint Security for Linux (supported versions)

•ESET Inspect and ESET MDR (supported versions)

ESET provided scripts and eRMMA

The ESET DEM plugin for N-able N-sight RMM tasks and checks must be downloaded and added to your N-able N-sight RMM server. These scripts have been developed to work with ESET security products down to version 6.6 without a need to use ESET PROTECT. While the ESET PROTECT is not required with these components, it can still be used in conjunction with for additional functionality.

These scripts rely on a companion application eRMMA, which is downloaded automatically to each device after an ESET-specific tasks has been run on the managed device. The eRMMA is automatically updated and only requires an internet connection. The eRMMA software acts as a means of communication between ESET and N-able N-sight RMM.
