eRmm disabled for existing managed devices

If you have an ESET security product installed on managed devices before using ESET DEM plugin for N-able N-sight RMM, you must manually activate Remote monitoring and management (RMM) in the ESET security product for the plugin to work properly.

MSP using ESET PROTECT

Create a policy in ESET PROTECT to enable ESET RMM in the ESET security product:

1.In the Advanced setup, click Tools > ESET RMM and click the toggle next to Enable RMM.

2.Next to Working Mode, select Safe operations only.

3.Next to Authorization Method, select Application Path.

4.Next to Application paths, click Edit.

5.In the Allowed RMM application paths window, type the following application path: C:\Program Files\ESET\RMM Adapter\bin\ermma-nsight.exe.

MSP not using ESET PROTECT

Perform the ESET - Offboard Task and then the ESET - Onboard Task to install and activate the ESET security product again.
