Upgrading the plugin

When a new version of ESET DEM plugin for N-able N-central is released, upgrade the Automation Policies (tasks) and Custom Services.

Upgrade Automation Policies (tasks)

1.Visit the ESET plugin download page to download the latest .zip file and extract the archive.

2.Log in to the N-able N-central console.

3.Navigate to Configuration > Scheduled Tasks > Script/Software Repository.

4.Click an Automation Policy (task) to update, and in Details, click Edit.

5.In the Automation Manager main menu, click File > Open.

6.Browse the computer to upload the corresponding Automation Policy (task) downloaded and extracted in step one, then click Upload.

7.In Upload Policy Options, select the Overwrite the current file with this file check box, then click OK.

8.Close Automation Manager.

Repeat the steps above to update all desired Automation Policies (tasks) in the N-able N-central console.

1.Navigate to Administration > Service Management > Custom Services.

2.Delete the Custom Services imported from the earlier ESET DEM plugin for N-able N-central version package.

3.Import the Custom Services from the latest ESET DEM plugin for N-able N-central version package by following these steps.
