Assign macOS script to the devices
Assign a macOS script to specific devices.
1.Click Views > All Devices and click the check box next to the desired macOS devices.
2.Click the Add Task drop-down menu and select Run a Mac Script.
3.In the Details section, rename the task in the Task Name window if necessary (for example, ESET macOS script - Scan).
4.In the Credentials section, ensure the Use root credentials is selected. The scripts need root privileges to run.
5.In the Script section next to Location, ensure From N-able N-central's Script Repository is selected.
6.Next to the Repository Item drop-down menu, click the desired macOS script (a script stored in the Configuration > Scheduled Tasks > Script/Software Repository).
7.The script parameters you typed when creating the script are displayed next to the Command Line Parameters field. If you must make a change, modify it now.
8.Optionally, click the Targets tab if you want to add other managed macOS devices.
9.Click the Schedule tab to select a time for the task to run. The default is set to Now. The task will run when you click Save.
10. Click the Notifications tab to select a notification type and recipients of status reports for the task execution.
11. Click Save to submit the task. You can view the progress of the task in Views > Job Status.
